I'm late! I know! But I did warn you, so....

Anyways, updates:
1. I was babysitting on Saturday and the kid accidentally knocked a glass of milk on my phone, so I am currently phoneless. However...
2. In about 2-3 weeks, I will be receiving my brand new iPhone 5! Which I unfortunately have to pay for, but...
3. I've been working a ton, so I can actually afford it! I'm either babysitting or working every day this week, so I'm saving up money for it. My parents are going to pay for half, thankfully, but it's still expensive because I'll be on an individual plan with Sprint now.
4. Work's been great! I haven't gotten paid yet, but I will next Monday. (:
5. I applied to the Ohio State University today! So that was super exciting, and I'm gonna be honest, that kinda demotivated me from applying to any other schools.

So that's it! I am saving most of my work money for college, but I'm setting aside a certain amount for clothes as well. (;

So I'm gonna go ahead and apologize now for the lack of posting that's about to occur because I'm super busy at the moment juggling school, college applications, and.. a JOB! 

That's right, I've got a job! I went to apply yesterday and they basically hired me on the spot.. so I'm not a member of the Riverbirch Lodge staff! I'll be hostessing, so that'll be fun! And my first training session is today (:

Doctor Who

Was brilliant and insane, finally. The last three episodes were a bit strange, but this one was excellent! Every minute was so intense, I had no idea what was going to happen. And it was so sad! But anyways. Yeah.

Doctor Who. Is amazing.

I'M IN COLLEGE!!!

This isn't a fashion/beauty related post, but whatever... It's exciting news!

On Friday, I came home and was pleasantly surprised by a huge envelope bearing the words "Congratulations!" on it! I applied to the University of Pittsburgh back in the beginning of the month, and since they have rolling admissions, I've been accepted already!

I'm actually extremely excited because Pittsburgh looks beautiful and it's up north; the location is really perfect for me! After some investigation, my dad also decided he was a fan, so there's actually a fairly high possibility I could end up at Pitt! I just need a few scholarships since I'm out of state, but hopefully I'll get some money from them. 

Anyways, I just thought I'd share the news! I was accepted to their College of Business Administration and their Honors College program (:

The weather is finally cooling down here! In fact, it's gotten to the point where I actually have to turn on the heat in the mornings! 

However, autumn is my favorite time of the year for a variety of reasons: candles, fashion, weather, scenery..

I actually have this obsession with candles because they smell so good and they're kind of romantic, in a way. They're warm and lovely ^^ So I picked up two of the Bath and Body Works three-wick candles today; one is Cider Lane and the other is Leaves, which both smell amazing! 

I really do love autumn, especially since I can start layering clothing again! And of course, the fair will be in town soon, which I'm really excited for. 

So yeah! I can't wait for the leaves to start changing colors and for it to be cool enough to drink hot chocolate again! (:

The weather was beautiful today! Mid-70s, so it was the perfect weather for layering. I've been really into layering pieces lately. This outfit is actually a shirt on top of a dress! I wasn't sure how I felt about the entire white lace ensemble, so I thought I'd make it a bit more casual and my style with the polka dotted shirt. The white lace dress is actually something I picked up over Labor Day weekend. The polka dotted shirt actually has a zipper in the back, as well!

I got these short cowboy boots at Target over the weekend for $9! 

I love how this collar peeks out; the lace details are beautiful.

And, of course, I have to have my bow.
